Well, with playing just one hand (where I folded Kings) I managed to squeze myself into winning enough Leaderboard points to finish on top - and therefore one BWIN Real Madrid package is on its way to me :)

Well, tonight is my first chance of securing a prize package to see Real Madrid live as part of af BWIN leaderboard tour.

Sometimes one wonders

Well, we are know well into 2010 and it is time for a little status up-date to this blog.

As one would know I did not qualify for the EPT here in Copenhagen, and that probably mostly had to do with the fact that I didn't try that hard :) I played a couple of steps on stars but didn't get anywhere close.

For my cashgame progres I have started up on a new site and invested a little $ in the project. With a small bonus and my rakeback I have in 2 month made it 4 times bigger. Its sounds like a lot more than it is, but I really feel that I am getting better at the ring games and that specific synergy.

For the MTTs I only play a couple of value-added tours - here I participate in DM for Football fanclubs on BWIN and the DM for Pokerklubber on Everest. The last onbe I only made 5th place while 3 got a seat - so I have to look at the jokerheat on Tuesday to see if I am getting futher in that tour.

My SnG game is however not doing very well - still is is a small sample of plyed tours but the result is not funny and has meant that my BR has been hit. It makes me wonder - it seems like I have a tendency to loose in the first couple of months and then a profit in the last 3 months. Maybe I should just play ´these months :)

En MTT sejr

Torsdag aften var jeg endelig klar til lidt poker med Team Ace kval på BWIN og lidt sng spil på Classic ved siden af.

Jeg har ikke fået spillet mange af disse kvals til Team Ace siden min deltagelse på det første hold, men nu har jeg tænkt at det skal have chancen. Bortset selvførlgeligt fra de torsdag hvor der er FCKs UEFA Cup kampe i Parken - de har jo prioritet.

Turneringen torsdag aften var nummer 2 i rækken af 8 i denne kvalifikationsrække. Vi var 84 til start og efter lige under 3 timers spil kunne jeg lukke computeren med en 1. plads i hus!

Jeg er må imidlertid også indrømme, at jeg undervejs er mr. river-boy, i de coinflips man nu kommer ud for, i sådanne en turnering. Jeg er AI to gange med AK mod par hvor jeg på riveren rammer henholdsvis en K og et A.

Men derimod er jeg meget tilfreds med mit FT spil - jeg spillede ganske diciplineret og selvom jeg med 4 tilbage var sidst i chips var mit spil nok til at komme HU. Her gik det lidt op og ned - var meget bagud på et tidspunkt, men kommer tilbage og vinder.

Det var en dejlig følelse, at få en MTT sejr igen (omend en lille en af slagsen - det gør ikke følelsen dårligere).
